Tired of taking guitar lessons that lead nowhere? Guitar education in Canada has now changed. The Standards have been set. The RGT (Registry of Guitar Tutors) is the Worlds Foremost Authority on Formal Guitar Education. RJP Guitar Studios has partnered up with the Registry of Guitar Tutors, London College of Music, and West London University to create RGT Canada. RGT Canada was created with one purpose… to take guitar education in Canada to the NEXT level. It’s no secret that Canada is seriously lacking and behind most of the world when it comes to formal guitar education. Until now, serious guitar students wishing to study the Electric Guitar have had very few choices. Electric guitar students seeking Formal Education have been forced to either study the Classical guitar at the College or University level, or head over to Europe or down to the United States to study at music schools like West London University, London College Of Music, L.A.M.A, Berklee or G.I.T Not anymore! RGT Canada now offers a series of fully accredited and internationally recognized Diploma Programs as well as several Performance and Teaching Diploma Programs specializing in either electric guitar (rock, blues and other styles of popular music) Jazz guitar (advanced Jazz curriculum) Acoustic Guitar, Classical Guitar and Electric Bass. Our Diploma Programs are the same courses you would study at the College and University Level and upon completion Diplomas are awarded by London College of Music and are fully accredited and certificated by West London University. Each diploma provides guitarists with the opportunity to gain an internationally recognized professional qualification and to develop their playing skills to an advanced level. Student's passing the Performance/Teaching curriculum are legally entitled to append the appropriate designation letters after their names. For BC High School students, RGT Canada even offers 3 specialized, graded course/exams that are fully accredited. What does this mean? If you are a high school student in BC, and you successfully complete one of our graded courses, you are then able to present your Certificate and Transcript to the BC Ministry of Education and receive Fine Arts credits towards your High School Diploma. That's right.... High School credits for studying the ELECTRIC guitar! If you're going to take guitar lessons, do it right and make them count!
